Se c'era bisogno di una conferma, la 4^ edizione del Celtic Bodypainting Contest l'ha data: Busto Arsizio, a metà strada tra Milano e Varese, è il primo centro della Regione Lombardia per quel che riguarda il mondo colorato del bodypainting, grazie alla direzione artistica di Daniela Cavatoni e all'organizzazione di Umberto Crespi (nella foto) del Festival Interceltico Busto Folk, presso il Museo del Tessile.

Domenica 16 settembre, la giuria sarà composta da Fiorella Scatena, Leonardo Giacomo Borgese, e dallo stesso Umberto Crespi, ha decretato sul podio più alto Giulia Giuggiolini, di Ferrara, con assistente Laura Pironti di Monza e la modella concittadina Aurora Orcini (nella foto a destra). Grazie all'adesione del concorso al circuito nazionale Bodypainting's Friends, per Giulia ci saràla possibilità di partecipare direttamente al Campionato Italiano nel giugno 2019. Secondo posto per la vincitrice della precedente edizione, la svizzera di Castel San Pietro Laura Errico con assistente Gabriele Ronchi e modella la connazionale Sara Fiori (a sinistra). Gradino più basso per Stefania Ferrari di Gallarate con modella Elisa Grandi di Varese (al centro).

L'evento si pregiava del patrocinio della Città di Busto Arsizio, della Regione Lombardia e dell'Italian Bodypainting Festival.

11 settembre

Giornata bellissima per la 4^ edizione di Bodypainting in Vetrina, svoltosi sabato 8 scorso a Lido di Camaiore. Sotto la perfetta direzione artistica di Tiziana La Monica, ben 21 team artistici si sono affrontati nella rinnovata sistemazione logistica sul lungomare Europa.

Al termine, l'ha spuntata un team tutto bolognese, formato da Serena Dalla Torre e Katia Malatesta con modella Ilenia Angel (nella foto, al centro), al suo esordio nel colorato mondo dell'arte di dipingere i corpi. Per loro la possibilità di partecipare direttamente al Campionato Italiano nel giugno 2019. Al secondo posto si è classificata la campionessa italiana della categoria Aerografo, Alla Krasnova, sempre pronta a mettersi in gioco e a divertirsi, con modella modenese Letizia Borella (a sinistra). Terzo podio per la cremonese Elisa Bolzoni e la bresciana Alessia Ferazzoli con la modella piacentina Sabrina Cappelletti.

Tutto pronto a Lido di Camaiore, sulla riviera versiliana, per la quarta edizione di Bodypainting in vetrina, contest inserito nel circuito Bodypainting's Friends e collegato al concorso fotografico nazionale Colore sulla Pelle.

Sabato 8 settembre, dalle ore 10, 25 team artistici provenienti da tutta la penisola, sono pronti ad innondare di colore il lungomare Europa nelle categorie Bodypainting e Facepainting,

Il tema di questa edizione è "Incanto del mare", e a giudicare i partecipanti saranno la neo campionessa italiana nella categoria Pennello & Spugna, la piemontese Francesca Cavicchio, i campioni italiani nella categoria Team Aperta del 2017 Barbara Passarini di Ferrara ed Andrea Benocci di Carrara, affiancati dalla painter viareggina Alessandra Lari e da Alessandra Giacomelli, diplomata makeup Artist.

L'organizzazione artistica è di Tiziana La Monica, con il patrocinio del Comune di Camaiore, il supporto della locale Pro Loco, e in collaborazione con il Consorzio di Promozione Turistica della Versilia.

Grande successo per la prima edizione di Enrosadira, Colore tra le vette, il contest di bodypainting tenutosi sabato 25 agosto a Villazzano di Trento. Una giornata uggiosa che non ha impedito la pacifica invasione colorata.

La giuria formata da Marzia Bedeschi, Barbara Passarini e Maurizio Fruzzetti alla fine ha premiato un trio tutto vicentino, formato dall'artista Lorena Farinella con assistente Lucia Faccio e dalla modella Silvia Gaio (nella foto, al centro). Per l'artista, oltre ai premi del concorso, ci sarà la partecipazione di diritto al prossimo campionato Italiano dei Corpi Dipinti, in programma sul lago di Garda nel giugno 2019, grazie all'adesione del contest siciliano al circuito Bodypainting's Friends. Seconda classificata la fiorentina Laura Colangelo con la modella roveretana Chiara Larcher (a destra). Terza posizione per la romana Claudia Priorini con assistente la pisana Francesca Tenore e modella la trentina Raissa Fontanari.

E anche il Piemonte si appresta ad ospitare il primo contest di bodypainting collegato al circuito Bodypainting's Friends e al concorso fotografico nazionale Colore sulla Pelle.

Si terrà sabato 29 e domenica 30 settembre nel Padiglione 1 del Lingotto Fiere di Torino, presso il settore Benessere di Manualmente Fiera.

L’iscrizione è gratuita, e sono aperte ancora per qualche settimana, o comunque fino al raggiungimento del limite massimo partecipanti per giornata. Approda anche tra le montagne del trentino l'arte di dipingere i corpi. Grazie all'Associazione Tre Fontane, ma soprattutto alla forte volontà di Raffaella Ginevrini e Giulia Pastore, sabato 25 agosto, presso il Centro Sportivo Don Onorio Spada, a Villazzano di Trento, a partire dalle ore 11, si terrà "Enrosadira, Colore tra le vette", il primo evento di bodypainting in trentino, collegato al circuito Bodypainting's Friends. Per il vincitore, l'iscrizione gratuita al prossimo Campionato Italiano dei Corpi Dipinti, in programma nel giugno 2019.

Aperto alla categoria Pennello e Spugna, il contest avrà come tema "Leggende dalle montagne", quelle legate alla tradizione montana di qualsiasi regione, interpretata secondo il gusto e il volere dell'artista.

La giuria d'eccezione sarà composta da Marzia Bedeschi, neo Campionessa Mondiale e già Campionessa Italiana, da Barbara Passarini, Campionessa Italiana 2017 nella categoria Team, e dal painter Maurizio Fruzzetti.

Ottimo riscontro di iscrizioni e di interesse del pubblico per la 4^ edizione del concorso "Il corpo come tela", andato in scena domenica 5 agosto a Niscemi, in provincia di Caltanissetta, ed organizzato dall'Associazione FIDAPA, con il patrocinio del Comune di Niscemi.

Al termine, la giuria formata da Giovanna Patanè, Simone Stella, Alla Krasnova, Filippo di Stefano e Marzia Nigito, ha decretato sul gradino più alto Agostino Dimitri con modella Sara Ferrara. Per l'artista, oltre ai premi del concorso, ci sarà la partecipazione di diritto al prossimo campionato Italiano dei Corpi Dipinti, in programma sul lago di Garda nel giugno 2019, grazie all'adesione del contest siciliano al circuito Bodypainting's Friends. Al posto d'onore Greta Spinello con la modella Alessia Licco, e terzo posto per Alice Zafarana con la modella Ginevra Gilli.

2 agosto

E con questo sono tre!!! Tre le edizioni del Face and bodypainting Civitas Infernalis di Sarteano, splendido borgo medioevale in provincia di Siena, curato dalla Giostra del Saracino e organizzato da Simona Meloni.

Al termine della giornata, la giuria composta dagli artisti Maurizio Fruzzetti e Samantha Polini e dalla fotografa Barbara Nieddu, ha decretato i due vincitori: nella categoria Facepainting ha prevalso Valentina Basilici con la modella Valentina Serini; nella categoria Bodypainting primo classificato è risultato Alessandro Calandrino con assistente Valeria Amatiello e modello Arsenio Mbelo Mbula, che si è aggiudicato anche il premio per la miglior performance. A seguire Luigina Basilici con assistente Roberto Basilici e modello Giacomo Fazi e terzo posto per Stefania Malatrama con assistente Martina Alba e modella Alessia Torroni.

Il contest, facente parte del circuito Bodypainting's Friends, permette ad entrambi i vincitori di partecipare di diritto gratuitamente al Campionato Italiano dei Corpi Dipinti del 2019.

Si avvicina anche la 4^ edizione de "Il corpo come tela", il contest dedicato all'arte di dipingere i corpi, in programma domenica 5 agosto in Piazza Vittorio Emanuele a Niscemi, in provincia di Caltanissetta, organizzato dalla locale sezione della Federazione Italiana Donne Arti e Professioni Affari con il patrocinio del Comune di Niscemi.

Il tema sarà "Sognando", ed in palio, fra gli altri premi, ci sono borse di studio di 150€ per il terzo classificato, di 350€ per il secondo e di 500€ per il vincitore, che godrà anche della partecipazione gratuita al Campionato Italiano dei Corpi Dipinti nel 2019, grazie all'adesione del contest siciliano nel circuito Bodypainting's Friends. Scadenza iscrizioni lunedì 30 luglio.

Mancano una decina di giorni al contest di Face and bodypainting Civitas Infernalis a Sarteano, in provincia di Siena. Giunto alla 3^ edizione, è inserito nel circuito Bodypainting's Friends ed il vincitore parteciperà di diritto gratuitamente al Campionato Italiano dei Corpi Dipinti del 2019.

La giuria sarà composta dal painter di Massa Maurizio Fruzzetti e la fotografa romana Barbara Nieddu.

L'appuntamento è per sabato 28 luglio a partire dalle ore 10. Il tema del contest sarà "Animali fantastici".

Seconda edizione del contest "The Body" conclusasi con grande soddisfazione di Alice Masia, "anema e core" del concorso di bodypainting ligure svoltosi domenica 1 luglio, colorando il Molo Heyerdal di Andora, in provincia di Savona.

La giuria, formata da Andrea Benocci, Francesca Fiorini e Alessio Morando, ha proclamato vincitrice la bresciana Andreia Gosio con modella Cristina Stalla, ottenendo la partecipazione gratuita al Campionato Italiano del giugno 2019 in programma sul lago di Garda, grazie all'adesione del contest al circuito Bodypainting's Friends dell'Italian Bodypainting Festival. Al secondo posto la savonese Antonella Tagliani con modella Francesca Ciocca, mentre nel gradino più basso è salita la piemontese astigiana Martina Chighine con modella Monica Florean.

L'evento è stato organizzato con la collaborazione dell'Associazione Fermento, della ProLoco del Comune di Andora e con il patrocinio del Comune di Andora.

24th june - THANKS

A week ago, at this time, the 13th edition of the Italian Bodypainting Championship was about to end. We hope (but after all we are convinced) that it remains in the hearts of those who have lived it... winners and... losers!

We thank first of all the about 250 ARTISTS and the almost 100 MODELS which are the soul of the Festival. These include, in particular, those from Chile, Ukraine, Israel and many European countries. We do not nominate anyone, to avoid... forget someone, so much so in these 7 days we felt, we exchanged ideas, we talked about this experience, we congratulated each other on the positive things, and we have already begun to talk about how to improve the negative ones.

We would like to thank the jury who took turns over the three days in the 8 different categories.

We thank the more than 100 accredited PHOTOGRAPHS, which through their presence contribute to the growth and dissemination of the event ... but a thank you also goes to those (numerous) who participated without accreditation, both those new and those who are now customary to the Italian Bodypainting Festival.

In this post, however, a special thanks goes to those who have allowed us all this: the Municipality of Garda, in the people of the Mayor Davide Bendinelli and Councilor Ivan Ferri, the Regione Veneto in the people of the Councilor Cristiano Corazzari, the ProLoco di Garda with the President Agostino Crescini and the inevitable Arnaldo Butturini.

Grande successo anche per la quinta edizione di Kermesse di Bodypainting del Mediterraneo, dal 31 maggio al 3 giugno, presso il Centro Fieristico Le Ciminiere di Catania.

Tre le categorie in gara.

In quella bodypainting professionisti si è registrato un ex equo per la russa residente a Brescia Alla Krasnova ed il piemontese Emanuele Borello. Grazie al circuito Bodypainting's Friends, entrambi potranno partecipare al prossimo Campionato Italiano dei Corpi Dipinti, insieme a Giovanna Gualtieri, quale prima siciliana in classifica. Terzo posto assoluto invece per la romana Patricia Amable. A Veronica Bottigliero, di Torre del Greco, il premio Sfumature d'arte, mentre il premio della critica è andato a Valeria Enea.

Nella categoria Facepainting, il gradino più alto è andato a Patricia Amable, seguita dalla romana Sonia Ricci e da Marzia Nigito, di Niscemi. A Giovanna Gualtieri una menzione speciale.

Nella categoria Amatori, 1° posto per la catanese Alice Zafarana, seguita da Cecilia Currao e dalla faentina Manuela Mancini. Ad un'altra catanese, Martina Furnari, invece il premio Sfumature d'Arte.

La giuria era composta da Lucia Postacchini, Giusy Campolungo, Lucia Pittalis, Nilla Zaira d'Urso, Giuseppe Scrivano e Dario Loris Cerfolli. Fotografo ufficiale della manifestazione Andrea Peria.

Organizzata come sempre da Giovanna Patanè e Simone Stella, l'evento era inserito all'interno di Etna Comics, grazie alla collaborazione con Antonio Mannino.

2nd june

Interesting collaboration started in this 13th edition of the Italian Bodypainting Championship with the Cultural Association EffectUs, organizer of the important EffectUS Event, scheduled in Rome on 22 and 23 September at Lanificio 159.

On Sunday 17 June, from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m., the artists Andrea Benocci and Arianna Ferrazin will realize a double makeup project with the same prostheses in bodypainting and "cinema" key, which will be presented to the public at 7 p.m. .

A beautiful synergy that is completed with a special credit for the participation of Andrea Benocci in the jury of the Italian Bodypainting Festival on Friday 15 and Saturday 16 June.

31th may

An important partnership for this 13th edition of the Italian championship of bodypainting with Cantina Valdadige.

To all the artists, models and photographers regularly signed up, a bottle of wine , one of the most typical and important products of Garda lake and its surrounding, will be offered.

15th may

The third edition of Montecatini Body Art Color Your Skin was successfully completed, with Samantha Polini and Martina Turco on the podium with model Rosita Magli, that access directly to the Italian Bodypainting Championship. In second place, a team composed by Fiorella Sebastiani and Giovanna Bacco with model Michela Zaccarin. In third place, the couple Cristina Fanni and Laura Pironti with model Samantha Morgantini. Best prize in photographic bodypainting unanimously by the photographers present at the work of Barbara Maranta and Caterina Papa with the model Sara Pompei. Best Performance to the roman model Giuditta Verra who perfectly interpreted the work of her painters Veronica Luciani and Silvia Galasso.

The jury was composed by Matteo Arfanotti, Gloria Bordin and the photographer Davide Da Damos. Official photographers of the event Alessandro Malgrande and Ciro Cortellessa. The Bodypainting nelle Dolomiti will be back. At its fifth edition, it s the longest-running contest after the National Championship. Organized by Strilly Animazione, it will take place again in Auronzo di Cadore, one of the most beautiful touristic location in the Dolomites, few kilometers away from Tre cime di Lavaredo.

The appointment is for Sunday 24th June at the cozy Art Bar Ribotta, and the theme for the contest will be “Friendship, a value going beyond”. The contest will start at 10am. At 16 the time for working  will end up, then the presentation to the jury, runway and awards.

It's part of the circuit of Bodypainting’s Friends, and the winner will be entitled to participate at the 14th edition of the Italian championship of bodypainting , scheduled in June 2019.

And so the first Brixia Benessere Bodypainting is closing down. Organized by Marilena Censi, with the collaboration of Florido Venturi and Blu Nautilus, it took place Saturday 21st and Sunday 22nd April at Brixia Forum in Brescia.

Part of the circuit Bodypainting’s Friends, the winners will be entitled to participate at the Italian Bodypainting Championship scheduled on 15th,16th and 17th June.

In the first day, the first place was for Giovanna Patta from Brescia, with her assistant Noemi Buffoli and model Martina Buzzi (photo on the left). Last Monday, the Harry Potter Facepainting Contest, organized by Daniela Cavatoni, took place at the Castello di Belgioioso in Pavia during the "Giornate magiche" event, which is part of the Bodypainting's Friends circuit.

Victory for Laura Errico, resident in Switzerland, with the model Sara Fiori (1st left). In second place Cristina Fanni, from Lonate Ceppino (VA), with model Elsa Nerozzi (in the center). Third position for Liala Bettini of Vigevano (PV) with model MariaLaura Viotti.

Parco Giardino Sigurtà will be again partner of Italian Bodypainting Championship.

Three days, and the protagonists will be our artists. The first is Sunday, 8th April for Tulipanintrucco; the second is Sunday 13th May for Rosatrucco; the third is the unforgettable Truccati da Campione, scheduled on Sunday 14th October, in which will participate the first three classified artists in the category facepainting of the Italian Championship, scheduled on Sunday, 18th June in Garda.

Three super-colorful days, into the nature! We wait for you!

“We all won!!” According to Veronica Bottigliero it was a great satisfaction to be able to begin the first contest dedicated to Bodypainting in Campania.

Hosted during the Caserta Tattoo Convention, the Caserta Bodypainting Contest had in its jury the roman painter Claudia Priorini and the artists Gianluca Cincinnati and Domenico Acampora.

At the end the artist from Benevento Michela Palmieri, with the model Elissena Riccio, won and is entitled to participate directly to the Italian Bodypainting Championship scheduled on June15th 16th and 17th at Garda Lake. Honor awards for Catello Zanca, from Castellamare di Stabia, accompanied by the model Andrea Merone. Third place for Iolanda Santafata, with the model Diana D’Acunzo.

VERY IMPORTANT confirmation for the 13th edition of the Italian Bodypainting Championship, scheduled for June 15, 16 and 17 in the City of Garda.

Official partners will also be this year Superstar BV, BadAssStencils, Lilatex and Ybody Ybody: many products for the bodypainting available to the three best winners of the Italian Bodypainting Championship in the four categories "Brush and Sponge", "Open Team", "Facepainting "and" Lovers".

And during the Festival, a well-stocked exhibition and sales point of the same products, in collaboration with Magnum Shop of friends Simona Conetta and Riccardo Conetta.

This is the renewed agreement between the Direction of the Italian Bodypainting Championship and Maayke van Lennep - Hogen, owner of the famous Dutch color production company.

The second  edition of the Circeo Body Art will take place Saturday, June 30th in the stunning archeological site in Vigna La Corte in San Felice al Circeo. The theme of the contest will be “La Dolce Vita”, the golden years of the Italian cinema. Soon after the appearance of the jury and the photographical shooting in the historical center, the final show will take place on the sea promenade, enchanting the public.

The contest is part of the circuit Bodypainting’s Friends, created and sponsored by the Italian Championship, and the winner will be entitled to participate to the next edition of the Italian Bodypainting Festival.

The first event of Regione Campania about the Bodypainting Art will be the “Caserta Bodypainting Contest”. It will take place on Sunday, March 25th in Polo Fieristico di San Marco Evangelista, hosted during the third edition of the Caserta Tattoo Convention. 

The theme will be “Tales and Legends” and it is open to professional and amateur artists. Free subscription.

Here we are, ready for the third edition of Montecatini Body Art - Color your skin. It will take place in the Villa Resort in Montecatini terme.

The theme of the contest will be “Astrology and Divination“. It will start at 11am, while the public will be able to enter at 12am. The available time for the artists will be until 17.30pm. Performances and awards at 23pm.

The contest is part of the Bodypainting’s Friends circuit, created and sponsored by the Italian Championship, and the winner will be entitled to participate to the next edition of the Italian Bodypainting Festival.

The 5th Edition of Kermesse di Bodypainting is finally ready! For the second year, it will be part of the event Etna Comics, set from 31st May to 3rd June 2018, at the Centro Fieristico Le Ciminiere in Catania.

The theme will be “Revolution in Art” and there will be three categories: Pro, Amateurs and Facepainitng. Two special guests are already anounced: Lucia Postacchini and Lucia Pittalis.

The Sanremo Palafiori hosted the first Sanremo Bodypainting Contest on February 10th 2018. The Bodypainting Art is finally arrived in the Liguria city, in the special day of the final of the 68th edition of the Italian Song Festival, thanks to the collaboration between Vincenzo Russolillo, patron of Casa Sanremo, and Enrico Bianchini, the Italian Championship of bodypaintng producer.

In the early morning, 12 artistic staffs, each one composed bu two painters and one model, challenged with their brushes on the theme “Music all over the World”. At the end, the winners were the couple Claudia Priorini from Ariccia (Rome) and Veronica Bottigliero from Torre del Greco (NA) helped by the model Sara Pompei. Honor prize for the sisters Gilberta and Emilia Bianchin from Montebelluna (TV) with the model Sabrina Tormena. Third place for Tiziana and Manuela Camacci from Rome, with the model Lucrezia Gabrieli.

To set the final ranking, a perfectly respectable jury, composed by Matteo Arfanotti, Italian and World Champion, Flavio Bosco, first Italian Champion in 2006, and Andrea Benocci, Italian Champion in 2017 in the category Team, helped by Barbara Passarini.

The third contest of this 2018 edition inherent to the circuit: the Brixia Benessere Bodypainting, on April 21st and 22nd at Brixia Forum in Brescia.

Sign-ups will start on February 13th, and the theme for both the days will be “SYMBOLS”.

The artistic director will be Marilena Censi (marilenastella@gmail.com), in collaboration with Florido Venturi and Blu Nautilus, sponsor by Italian Bodypainting Festival.

5th february

A remarkable success with the public for the Harry Potter Bodypainting Contest, set last sunday 4th February in Novegro (Mi), along with the Comics Festival.

And during the first contest in 2018 dedicated to bodypainting, the winner was Cristina Fanni, assisted by Francesca Isella and the model Elsa Nerozzi. Thanks to the adhesion of this contest to our circuit Bodypainitng’s Friends, she will be entitled to partecipate directly to the Italian Championship of Bodypainting, scheduled on 15th-16th-17th June in Garda Lake.

The honor prize was given to Laura Enrico helped by Silvia Valtorta and the model Sara Fiori. The third place was to Elisa Bolzoni and Martina Carantani, with the model Giulia Prato.

The jury was composed by Benedetta Carugati, champion in Special Effects in 2015, and Martina Lenti, expert and essayist in the Harry Potter’s world. The organization was by Daniela Cavatoni. Official photographer Gabriele Ronchi.

Another important big news for 2018: the First edition of the “Sanremo Bodypainting Contest”, taking place on Saturday 10th February, at Palafiori, hosted by Patron Vincenzo Russolillo’s Casa Sanremo, at the same time as the Italian Song Festival. The theme couldn’t but be “Music all around the world”.

The starting of the contest is scheduled at 11 am, the presentation of the final works to the jury will be at 17, while the final exhibition of the models along with the performance for the public will be at 19. Then there will be time to eat something and sit down and enjoy the final of Festival di Sanremo.

15th dicember

The Harry Porter Bodypainting Contest is the first contest in 2018 dedicated to the art of Bodypainting, joining the circuit of Bodypainting’s Friends linked to the Italian Championship of Bodypainting. 

It will take place February 4th 2018 at the Comics Festival scheduled in Novegro (Milan), in a 1.200 mp exposition area, where some lessons inspired to the sagas, various meeting and animation activities, conferences and meetings with the authors of the sagas and a dedicated area to the market  will be carried out.

The event planning is by Barbatrucchi, Lipu and Festival del Fumetto.
